In Sunday School last week, part of what we discussed was 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. That's the one about "Charity suffereth long, and is kind," etc. I used to read those verses and feel like they were a checklist, individual qualities that I needed to develop and then they would add up to Charity with a capital C. But I have since come to believe that when you are acting in love, as Christ always does, that those are the qualities that will start to manifest.
That's why I love this video of part of a talk by Elder Bednar. While I am not a leader being taught how to minister to people I am leading, I believe that there are no qualifications in how it can apply to me. It is a wonderful four minutes of video.
